I received a call from 01245-809559 at approximately half two this afternoon. I attempted to engage by greeting the caller several times, but received no response, so I decided to end the call. I'm rather suspicious that it could be a rogue caller.

A woman called claiming to be from the Euro Advice Centre, inquiring whether we'd received any communication regarding Holiday Clubs. She mentioned that they were being absorbed by bigger firms that would start charging additional fees. Since we’re not members anymore, she promptly ended the call. This was actually the second time we were contacted today.

I picked up the phone, but there was absolutely no response on the other end. This marks the second instance today alone, and it’s been the same story on prior occasions too.

Received a call from someone claiming to be with the Euro Advice Centre. They inquired whether we’d had any letters about Holiday Clubs, mentioning that these were being acquired by bigger firms who might impose additional charges. They were also offering complimentary legal guidance.

A call came through to my folks, who reside a good 90 miles from my place, and they were inquiring about me! They suggested they were some sort of family history researchers!

Today, I received a rather unsettling phone call from someone claiming to be from the Euro Advice Centre. They were inquiring about my husband, but since he's passed on, I took the call. The caller insisted that a complaint had been filed against us by the new owners of our timeshare regarding unpaid maintenance charges. I repeated numerous times that my husband had sadly died, that I had officially relinquished the timeshare, and that there were no outstanding fees-something I can substantiate with documents. However, the lass on the other end proved rather tenacious and showed no compassion whatsoever. Eventually, I found it necessary to end the conversation.

Fraudulent timeshare nonsense, they keep altering their contact number to evade the authorities. Whatever you do, don’t part with any money for their so-called “guidance”-it’s all a con!

I've had a similar experience recently; it seems to be coming from some supposed European advisory group! I received a barrage of calls just last week and now again today. It’s the same old rubbish about unpaid maintenance fees, claiming they're contacting me on behalf of some company. It’s obviously a scam, so I decided to entertain them for a bit. They ended the call, but I rang back using a local UK number, only to find it routed overseas instead-very dodgy! Once more, I was met with the same ridiculous spiel, and they mentioned that their legal team would ensure I was removed from their list! As if that would actually happen! Steer clear of these charlatans.

I’m familiar with that woman’s voice; she’s seemingly switched to this number. Definitely a scam artist as she was trying to chat about timeshares.

This number keeps calling us relentlessly. I never answer, but it’s incredibly frustrating, particularly since we’re on the Telephone Preference Service list.

Got called on the house phone two times in about 30 minutes today. I answered the second time but stayed quiet, and they didn't say a word either before hanging up after a few seconds. I've blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they had a file and mentioned an unpaid management charge. I told the woman on the phone that it was all dealt with about four years back and then I ended the call. They had apparently tried to contact us the day before but we weren’t home.

Saw the Chelmsford code but didn't pick up. They seem to swap their numbers quite a lot.

The bloke was quite courteous but mentioned there was an outstanding balance on our account from February 2024, and apparently, the company had been trying to reach me via email but got no reply. He actually read out my email address before probing for more details. I quickly told him I don’t share personal details with cold callers and that I’d get in touch with our company myself. He said he’d note that down on their system and thanked me for my time. Bit odd, if you ask me!

I just got a call from a woman using this number claiming she now has our timeshare file. When I asked her who gave her our details, she just kept talking over me. I tried to get a proper answer but as soon as I repeated my question, she ended the call. Proper shady behaviour.

I find myself inundated with calls from this number multiple times each day. It’s turning into quite the bother, and I really need to put a stop to it. What steps can I take to block it? I feel like it may require further scrutiny at this point.

I received a query from the Euro Advice Centre, inquiring whether we had any updates concerning Holiday Clubs. Apparently, these clubs are in the process of being acquired by larger corporations, which may lead to additional charges down the line. They even extended an offer for complimentary legal consultation.

They told me we were still listed on the Land Registry even though we don’t have a timeshare anymore, and warned about possible bills for unpaid maintenance. They even gave me some solicitor contacts who could help sort it. But honestly, I wouldn’t trust everything cold callers say these days.

So I found out it’s from the Euro Advisory Board or something like that, they say they’re on the side of independent solicitors looking into timeshare scams. Honestly, it seems like a total con to fish out your personal info. Complete rubbish if you ask me.

Got a call about some timeshare thing, claiming they were there to 'help me out'. Pretty sure it was just a scam, they probably planned to ask for money eventually. Didn’t even bother sticking around to find out. Hung up right away and blocked the number.

Yesterday I got a call from a different number but the same kind of story as this one. It was a woman claiming to be from the ‘Euro Advisory Board’, but I can’t find any real company with that precise name. I told her I suspected it was a scam, and she got quite snippy, saying they had my details because I didn't opt out of sharing info. The call ended abruptly when she suddenly hung up. This was about a timeshare, not some money they supposedly owed me, but a brand new trick pretending I owed them money and that debt collectors were involved. Totally made up, but still a bit worrying.
