Here we go again, another call from this dodgy company using yet another number. This is the second time they've tried in a week after being silent for a few weeks. I suppose they hoped I would've forgotten and answered, but I let it ring out to voicemail, where of course, no message was left. Not only is it clearly a scam, it's also proper harassment. They ring once, then after a couple of days start calling multiple times a day, always from different numbers. I NEVER pick up if I don't recognise the number, especially in the evenings.

The best way to deal with these scam calls is to report each one straight to the police using the special system they made for the public, which makes it really easy to report any scam number - not just the one in question. Got a recorded message talking about some bogus "Government Window and Door Scrappage Scheme". This scheme is totally made up. Also, right at the start they ask if you own the property. Just got called by some group about "Care Costs" aiming to stop you from losing your house if you end up needing long-term care. Sounds like they're pushing some kind of trust scheme. You'd think they'd switch their phone number considering all the bad reviews they've got from their old scams with driveways and solar panels.

Reading through these comments again, this company without a name appears to deal in windows, doors, solar panels, and driveways. The loft insulation rip-off seems to be the only thing they haven’t added. Best to report them to Action Fraud. The info is shared here on this thread. That seems to be the only way to put a stop to them. Police tend to look into things when they get a flood of complaints. If this firm is legit, they really shouldn’t have any concerns - maybe just think about how to boost their sales approach.
