Got a call from some bloke with a male voice who said he could see my driveway. I was like, how on earth do you know that? He goes on about how my driveway needs fixing and they’ll do it for free as a promo to attract other clients. I told him he’d have a hard time since I live in a flat with no driveway. Seriously, these scammers have some nerve!

Got a call from 01245806210 about loft insulation. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, especially as they were talking about a problem with roof insulation. I've already had mine checked out, and it was part of a government scheme, so not sure what they’re on about. Felt a bit fishy if you ask me.

I saw the Chelmsford area code pop up but decided not to pick up. Nearly always if it's someone I don’t recognise, it's just a sales call or one of those scams. More often than not, I’m right to ignore them.

Someone called saying they were from a government grant program and that I’d been chosen for some funding. They were talking about energy savings and reducing my home’s carbon footprint. They wanted me to arrange an appointment and asked me to ring them back, but they never got back in touch. Bit frustrating, really.

I picked up but there was nobody on the line, so I called back and heard this super strange chipmunk-like voice. So weird! Seems like it might be some kind of scam to me.
