Thing is, I haven't used PayPal in over a decade, and my bank details have changed multiple times since then. They told me to ring their ‘customer support’ within 24 hours on a so-called free number, 0124 579 0961, if I didn’t authorise the payment - promising a refund. It’s obvious they’re fishing for bank or card info, likely trying to scare folks into calling.
