Got a call from someone pretending to be from a phone blocking company, asking for cash to renew some service that doesn’t even exist. Just ignore them and let your phone provider know about it.

I just got a call from someone claiming they were a phone blocking service arranged by the owner of my number, saying it was about to expire and calling me Mrs Armstrong. I’ve had this number for over two years and never signed up for anything like that, plus my name isn’t Armstrong. When I told the woman all this and asked to speak to someone else, she just put me through to another department and then hung up on me. Seems dodgy to me, so watch out!
