Got a call on my home phone from some American woman with a recorded message saying I was charged £39.99 for an Amazon Prime subscription and thanking me for being a loyal member. I just ended the call right away since I’ve never signed up for Amazon Prime or anything like that. Proper dodgy.

got a call from an automated voice warning me that my amazon prime membership would be charged £39.99 for renewal. it said if i didn’t want to keep it, i should talk to an operator. problem is, i dont have any prime account with amazon! so, pretty much obvious scam so i just blocked the number straight away.
