Received a call intended for my elderly mother, who was informed that her drainage and sewage insurance was up for renewal. They proposed a three-year plan for £187, but she was quite adamant that she’d never subscribed to such coverage and certainly didn't wish to do so now. They insisted they would be withdrawing the funds from her account within 24 hours regardless. It’s quite astonishing, as this seems to happen roughly every three weeks. I’ve just attempted to ring them back, having finally gotten the number from her, but to no avail - no one picked up. I’ll give it another go during normal business hours. It appears they identified themselves as "Home Drainage."
