My elderly mum got a call about renewing some sort of insurance for her drains and sewage, supposedly covering 3 years for £187. She told them she’s never had anything like that before and wasn’t interested at all. They kept insisting they’d still take the money from her bank within 24 hours. This happens every few weeks or so, which is really frustrating. She sent me the number and I’ve just tried ringing them but got no answer. Planning to call again during normal office hours. The company she said they claimed to be was something like "Home Drainage".
