I picked up the phone to find an Asian gentleman claiming to be from BT, saying there were issues with my broadband connection. I quickly realised he was trying to pull a fast one, so I cut him off and hung up. When I tried calling back, an automated BT message informed me that the number wasn’t recognised. It’s clear this was just a fraudulent attempt!
