I got the exact same call pretending to be from TalkTalk, asking if my computer ran Windows and if I had a phone. They also wanted to know if my internet or TV signal was behaving badly. I told them I don’t use Windows. Tried calling them back, but it was just silence. After that, I contacted TalkTalk myself and they said it was definitely a scam. Looks like scammers are using the number 01245596241 now.

Got a call from 01245 and all I got was a dodgy "hello" before they cut me off! Turns out it’s from Chelmsford. Sounds like one of those scam calls best left alone!

They rang me claiming my TalkTalk account was compromised. It's not the first time I've had one of these calls in recent months. I usually just say I’ll have a look online and then put the phone down.

They said they were from TalkTalk and even knew my last name and postcode right, but then asked for my full name, DOB, and credit card info. Definitely a scam, stay clear!

I got a call from someone claiming to be TallTalk, but it felt totally dodgy. They kept telling me hackers were on my computer and insisted on connecting me to another server to fix it. They even threatened to shut off my internet and phone line if I didn’t let them in, which was a massive red flag. Definitely some sort of scam trying to get access to your PC!
