4 yearsGot a voicemail from someone saying they were from Visa fraud team. They said there were a couple of strange transactions on my card earlier today, one through eBay and another through PayPal. They asked me to press 1 if the charges were legit or press 2 to cancel and talk to a rep. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.VisaPayPal4 yearsI keep getting calls from this number and one similar, 01245268603. It’s a recorded message claiming that there have been two attempted purchases on Amazon linked to “your card” - one for about £1000 and another for something like £350. It’s weird because they don’t say which person in the house or which bank or credit card the message is about. They tell you to press one key to authorise the payment, or press another key to talk to someone. I ignored it and didn’t press anything, then tried calling the numbers back. The one ending in 627 had a man answer, sounded a bit flustered, said “Hello” and then hung up straight away. Now when I try that number it says it’s not reachable. The 603 number just rings a few times before cutting off, and my phone says “number not reachable” or something like that. Seems dodgy to me.AmazonHulloSubmit Your Own Report (01245 268627)
