Got a call from the same number again today. Unlike before, the person actually spoke and claimed to be from some service that blocks calls. He said he’d be updating my call blocker and stopping spam calls. Bit suspicious though.

I received an automated call informing me that I had supposedly made a purchase of an Apple iPad from Amazon. Quite frankly, I hadn’t ordered anything! They wanted me to press 1 to confirm, but I thought better of it and didn’t budge. After checking my Amazon account, it turned out there was no order whatsoever. Quite the nuisance, really!
