Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent who claimed his name was Mike and said he was from British Telecom. I told him to cut the crap and stop phoning me since I’m not with British Telecom at all. He went silent for a moment, didn't respond, then just ended the call. That pretty much confirmed it was a dodgy attempt to get my personal info. Total scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who said his name was Mike and claimed to be from British Telecom. I told him flat out to stop bothering me with his scams and made it clear I’m not with British Telecom. After that, he just went silent and then hung up on me. That pretty much confirmed it was a dodgy call trying to fish for my info.
