I’ve had a couple of calls from this number but I usually don’t pick up on my landline if I don’t recognise the number. What’s odd though is I’m expecting a call from the police. I did report a theft just yesterday and gave them my mobile number since that’s the best way to reach me, especially with my shifts and not being at home much for landline calls. So if this number is really the police as people say, why are they calling my landline which I barely use? Why not ring the mobile I provided when I made the report? It’s a bit suspicious.

Got a dodgy message claiming to be from Screwfix about a survey and a freebie. They asked me to cover delivery charges to get the "free" gift, but turns out it was a trick. Once you pay, they start charging you a subscription fee of £47.95 every two weeks without you realy knowing. The phone number on the invoice was +44 1245 904699. Avoid it if you can!

Got a ring from this number at 2:35 in the morning, but before that, had a couple of mystery calls at just after midnight and then again around quarter past one. Picked up the call at 1:14 because my daughter's about to have a baby any day now, but there was no one there on the other end.
