I just got a call on my home phone from 01245 123456. The bloke claimed he was with some environment emergency alert group and told me not to drink, bathe, or boil the water because it was toxic and contaminated. When I asked if it was serious, he went on about how he's been polluting the water supply with rubbish like nappies. It sounded so dodgy I told him to stop and hung up. This kinda thing could really panic elderly or vulnerable folks who might then avoid using their water altogether. I’m thinking of reporting this to my water supplier and possibly the police. When I didn’t play along with his questions, he suddenly started making awful threats about wanting to hurt me, my missus and our girls.
