Got a spam call today, and when I asked if I'd requested the call, the lady insisted it wasn’t a cold call. Right after that, she just hung up on me. Blocked the number straight away.

While I was researching a holiday that I spotted in the Metro, which was promoted by Reader Travel Breaks, I received this phone number. Initially, I dialled the number that was listed in the ad, and they informed me that a representative would return my call. Indeed, they did reach out, leaving a voicemail for me to return to this number - but I haven't got around to doing that yet!
