I got a call from this number saying they were from Amazon Prime Video. They said I couldn’t watch Prime Video anymore because I was supposedly still on a free month trial and that I needed to pay for the yearly subscription first. But strangely, I was still able to log into my account just fine.

I must say, this outfit is nothing but a dodgy scam. If you've ever filled out an online loan application, chances are they've dialled your number. They’ll insist that your loan has been approved and claim they're ready to deposit funds into your bank account. Then, they start prying into how long you want to borrow and begin calculating the monthly repayments. However, once you’re ensnared, they'll inform you that a UK homeowner must act as a guarantor in order for you to receive the money. If you happen to have one lined up, they won’t hesitate to demand the guarantor's personal information, including their address, a proof of identity, and a bank statement from the past six months. This is a ploy to pilfer your guarantor’s identity, as they’ll have all the vital details needed. Meanwhile, you can bet your last pound that the money will never actually land in your account; it’s all a ruse! If you happen to mention that you lack a guarantor, the story changes; they'll insist you must pay the initial instalment upfront before any funds are released. They'll say that for 'security reasons', they can’t process payment through your debit card. Instead, they'll urge you to purchase a Ukash voucher from a local post office or paypoint. The reason they're avoiding debit cards is quite clear - they’re a fraudulent operation! Any debit transaction would allow your bank to trace the money back to them, reclaim it, and tip off the authorities about their shady practices. By demanding payment via Ukash, they’re merely trying to dodge accountability. They’ll try to convince you they’re above board, even suggesting that you can protect yourself by only providing the last few digits of your Ukash voucher - a clever deception, as the last digits are the crucial ones. The initial digits only indicate the region, which they already possess since they have your address. Providing just the final few digits gives these crooks everything they need to access the funds and vanish without a trace. I've shared all the intel I have. Please, don’t fall prey to these unscrupulous scams!

I've been tricked into coughing up £110 through Ukash, and I’m wondering if there's any way to take action against it. If you could give me a bell on 07938419357, I’d really appreciate it!

This seems to be a loan firm claiming that I submitted an application for a loan, which, to be honest, I haven't done at all!
