When I said no, they then asked if anyone at my place had. I told them to take my number off their list, and they said fine before just hanging up.

Had about four calls from these lot who said they were connected with DVLA and the insurance lot. When I asked what exactly they meant by "working alongside," the woman from Liverpool got proper rude. I rang up my insurance company afterwards, and they had never heard of these people. Sounds like a complete scam to me. Watch out!

So this bloke called saying I’d been in a car accident, something about the Insurance bureau, but I knew it was a load of rubbish. He sounded pretty young and had a Liverpool accent. When I called it out as a scam, he got really narky and started arguing, insisting he was legit. Tried to reason with him, but he just wouldn’t back down. In the end, I told him I was hanging up and have since blocked the number on my phone.

Got a call from some bloke named Lewis who was pretty pushy, asking if I’d had any accidents recently. He said he was from Direct Response UK but when I probed a bit more, he got all awkward and just ended the call. Seemed dodgy to me.
