She stated she needed to verify a £900 transaction to Western Union that I supposedly authorised from my account. Please take caution; this is a scam! Don’t engage with them, as they’re likely trying to obtain your banking information to empty your account. It seems this con artist group is utilising a range of different numbers provided by BT, frequently changing their calling number to make the ruse harder to trace.
