Got a call at my landline from a firm that said they were TSS. They seemed to know my name and address, which felt a bit odd. They said I had some sort of TV insurance with them, which I definitely don’t. Then they tried to tell me if I hadn’t made a claim yet, I could get a discount down to £85. When I asked for proof about the policy, they just hung up straight away. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from some dodgy TV insurance people, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Some bloke named Daniel Green rang me claiming he was with TSS, saying we'd qualify for a discount on our TV insurance since we never made a claim. We went back and forth for a bit, then he wanted to know which bank I used. I wouldn't tell him, and when he pushed too much, I just ended the call.

Some bloke rang up asking about my telly, whether it was working fine or not. I'd just taken a call a few minutes before about car insurance offers and told him all was fine with the TV, didn’t need any new deals or whatever. Then I just ended the call there.

Somebody from Nottinghamshire rang up saying they were a tv engineer (this makes 6 folks now claiming the same for our telly). I told him straight that he was just the latest in a whole bunch, we dont have any insurence on the tv, and it’s working perfectly fine thank you, then I ended the call. What really creeped me out tho was he actually knew my name and address.

Got a call about 1 in the afternoon from some bloke claiming he worked for TSS Services regarding my TV. I said yes to him, then all of a sudden he paused and just cut the call. Not sure why they bother calling if they’re just going to drop the line so quickly - the whole thing lasted barely 30 seconds.

I picked up and after a brief silence, heard a recorded voice saying "thank you for your call". Judging by what others have said, it's probably best to just block this number.

It was a scam about tv insurance. Since we never made a claim, they said we should get a discount. The person kept going on and then just ended the call when I asked for more info.

Got a call from a cheerful woman saying her name was Samantha. She said she was ringing from TSS, but it’s obvious they switch the company name every time. It’s just another insurance TV scam. They’ve been ringing more often lately, so fingers crossed the authorities will catch on and shut them down soon.

A nice sounding woman rang up about some TV insurance for my mum, who’s elderly. Thing is, my mum doesn’t have any such cover. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me!

I got a call trying to sell me TV insurance, claiming I could get a discount since I hadn’t claimed anything last year. When I asked which company they were with, they just hung up on me. The guy said he was part of the maintenance team that does all the TV repairs and fixes. Sounds like a total scam to me. Honestly, these scammers should find a proper job instead of bothering folks.

They sound really convincing, acting like you’ve got some TV insurance and if you haven’t made a claim, you could get a discount. Everything seemed legit at first, but then they wanted my debit card info. Seemed quite official, but honestly, it felt like a total scam - just hang up immediately!!!

Got a call from someone saying we could get a new TV since we never claimed on our old one, sounded like total rubbish to me. That’s a new kind of scam for sure. I’ve had about three calls from them just this week alone, and I wasn’t shy about telling them to get lost with some choice words.
