Received a missed call from the number 01244679276, claiming to be from MBNA. They urged me to return their call.

I received a call from these individuals initially using an 0800 number, and then they rang again from 0161 566 0040, introducing themselves as Frida from MBNA. I find it rather questionable; if it's supposedly a private matter, surely they could just send a letter to us since they must have our address on file. Instead, they decided to contact us on our mobile and insisted we should return their call at our earliest convenience. It’s all rather peculiar if you ask me.

Concerning the issue of overdue payments on my MBNA credit card, I received a rather forceful call from someone insisting that I make an additional payment via debit card. The peculiar part is that I have already settled my dues with the bank.
