It appears to be MBNA. My experiences with them have been nothing short of exemplary; they’re far more considerate than many other companies I've encountered. My suggestion would be to give them a ring and have a chat before matters escalate. It’s certainly preferable to dealing with them directly rather than ending up with a debt recovery agency on your case, which could be the next step if things are left unresolved.

I received a call from someone purporting to be with MBNA, insisting they were pursuing an outstanding debt of mine. This is utterly ridiculous since I have no financial obligations to them whatsoever.

Hi there! We received a message from this number saying that someone needed to discuss something urgent with us. Just to give you a heads up, it turns out to be a debt collection agency. Best to steer clear and not give them a bell! Quite amusing, really!
