I got a call with a robotic voice saying our IP address had an issue and that we'd be cut off in a day or two. They told me to press one to chat with someone and stop it happening. Pretty obvious scam, but I can see how folks might get scared by it!

Just got a robocall like 10 minutes ago warning me my internet was hacked or something, and to press 1 to chat with someone. Definitely a scam, don’t even think about calling back, probably costs a fortune!

So, I got a call from 01244674106 and used 1471 to check who it was. The message said my internet would be cut off because there was an issue with my IP address and asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. Just as I was about to respond, the call dropped. This same scammer’s been ringing me for months now, nonstop.
