Indeed, it appears to be MBNA! We just got off the phone with them. They were quite apologetic and mentioned that they use recorded messages. When we inquired about why the company's name isn't included in the text, their response was quite revealing: apparently, numerous individuals prefer not to engage with them!

Absolutely, it’s definitely MBNA! They have this knack for making you wonder who’s on the other end when you get that call. So, you ring them back, and they’re all too eager to assist you with those debts hanging over your head. But the moment you show any hesitation, their tone turns quite harsh! I’ve been there too; even with a payment arrangement in place, they’re relentless in their pursuit. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!

I received a text stating: "I've not heard back from you regarding my messages. Could you give me a call on 01244 673093 so I can assist you?" I’m quite sure this is from the friendly folks in the collections department of MBNA or Virgin.

We've just received a text from these folks and categorically declined to engage with MBNA. Frankly, their manner is quite off-putting and bordering on intimidating. The way they run their operations is utterly disgraceful! I’m currently working with Payplan, yet these individuals persist in calling, insisting that our proposals are being rejected and that they intend to escalate things further. I refuse to answer their calls and will stick to the payment plan I've been advised to follow by Payplan.

We've recently received one of those text messages and we utterly declined to engage with MBNA. Their approach is downright appalling and, quite frankly, intimidating. The manner in which they operate is nothing short of disgraceful! I'm currently with Payplan, yet they persist in ringing us, claiming that our proposal isn't being accepted and threatening further action. I'm not answering their calls and will carry on with the payment plan suggested by Payplan.

I've been getting calls from this number repeatedly throughout the day, usually around six times. As soon as you pick up, they say they've got a message for a Dr Rashid and instruct you to press any key to hear the details. It's becoming quite bothersome, to say the least!

I received a call from the MBNA collections department, and it was rather alarming. They've been contacting my 12-year-old daughter while she's at school and were quite evasive about identifying themselves. Eventually, they sent a text message with a number to call back. We did get in touch with them, and after expressing our concerns, they apologised and assured us they would remove her number immediately. It seems to be an automated system, so if you inadvertently enter the number incorrectly, it seems they persist in calling you, regardless of what you tell them when they reach out. What a bother!
