Just got a reply from Marks and Spencer about my PPI claim. Took a bit longer than I expected but they finally got back to me. Hopefully this means things will move forward now with the old payment protection insurance case. Fingers crossed they sort it out soon.

Got a call out of the blue about some claim related to a pit. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

This seems to be linked to M&S Money. I can't quite grasp why anyone would still be seeking this info, especially since the original posts were from last year.

I somehow managed to receive a call from this number, even though I’ve got BT set up to block such annoyances. I’ve no idea who it is or what they want - I certainly won’t be returning the call!

It seems that the moment you ring this lot, they claim to be connected to a scam outfit, stating that someone has tried to file an application using an old address. These individuals are supposedly doing some kind of tracing. The reality is, we've never held an account with M A S, and whenever we posed specific inquiries, they simply brushed us off and chose to remain silent. It’s all a bit dodgy, to be honest!

I successfully answered the call, even though I’ve got BT set up to prevent these interruptions. I have no idea who's behind it or their intentions. I'm definitely not returning the call!

I've managed to contact BT, and after sorting out the payment issue, they've successfully blocked the number. We don’t recognise anyone associated with it, so it raised a lot of questions. Naturally, there’s no way we’ll be calling them back.
