I received a telephone call from someone claiming to represent Motoeasy, insisting they had a cheque for me due to an accident. He seemed to have knowledge of the incident date and the identity of the third party involved. However, when I sought clarification on a few points, he became rather abrasive. His manner was nothing like the courteous support one would expect - quite the inverse of the training our staff undergo for handling inquiries. I decided to end the call. A quick online search indicates that Motoeasy deals with automobiles rather than insurance or personal injury matters. I intend to reach out to my insurance company to verify whether they have engaged Motoeasy on my behalf.
