Its frustrating how these scam callers just take money from folks pensions and wages. They should really get proper careers and try to do something honest. Phone networks definitely ought to be stricter about stopping these fraudsters from using their lines.

I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent, and as soon as I asked her which company she was representing, she just hung up on me. Definitely felt dodgy and suspicious to say the least!!!

Got a call on my phone around half six from a woman named Janice who said she was ringing from the Life Insurance Review Centre. She dropped names like Aviva and Sun Life during the chat. I told her I’m on the TPS and she really ought not to be ringing me. I asked her to take my details off their list and ended the call. After that, I went ahead and blocked the number.

When I asked who that was, she just said it was about my life insurance. I asked her what life insurance, and she just hung up on me. What really worries me is how she knew both my full name and that phone number, which is meant to be unlisted!

Pretty clear they’re working off some list from an insurance firm. I told them to bugger off when they wanted to go over my policy. Told them I’d already sorted that with my real insurer just last month. They kept pushing though, which was a bit annoying.

So the phone rang and when I picked up, a lady on the other end said hello after a bit of a pause like there was a delay. I didn’t respond and she kept saying hello a couple more times before just hanging up. I’ve gone ahead and blocked that number now.
