Someone rang me claiming to be from BT, saying my broadband was cut off and I should press 1 to chat with an engineer. But I was on my laptop right by the router, browsing fine. So, I just ended the call straight away, thinking it was a scam where pressing 1 might either charge me a ridiculous fee or install some nasty malware.
