Quite the peculiar situation, if I may say! I recently ordered some travel currency via FairFX.com, and since my transaction exceeded £2000, they required additional verification. They attempted to reach me by phone, but the number they used-0124572300-left me rather befuddled. They did leave a voicemail confirming it was indeed FairFX, and I also got an email from them to back it up. I’m awarding four stars here, as the call was legitimate, albeit masking itself under a rather unrelated phone number. Quite the farce, I must say!

I didn’t pick up the call, but luckily I didn’t need to get a new card or anything.

So, Card One Banking rang me up out of the blue asking if I wanted to know about different account options. Then, barely two days later, a Card One debit card turned up at my door - no credit check or anything, which seemed odd. When I called them back, they said it’s an account with a £12 monthly fee and crazy high interest rates, way worse than any interest I’d normally earn, which is practically nothing anyway. Bit of a weird experience!

Just got a call from a number I don’t recognize. Didn’t pick up, so no idea what it’s about yet. I’ll try to see what they want and will add some info here later. Hopefully next time I answer and find out!

I've received a couple of calls from this firm requesting my personal information, which I firmly declined to share. They claimed that I had supposedly applied for an online account with them, but I definitely haven't done any such thing. Despite my clear refusal to provide any details, they rang me again, repeating their request for the same information. Just a heads up - stay vigilant!

They rang me up but were after somebody who’s not me.

They said it was cardonebanking calling. I guess I must have put in an application for either a business or personal current account. Looks like the call is just to complete the setup of the account.

Legitimate call from CardOne Banking/Acorn Accounts. Should you decide against moving forward with your application, simply verify your security details to enable them to authenticate your identity, after which you can cancel the application. I was informed during the phone call that their system makes calls automatically, and the advisors can't intervene in this process until GDPR compliance is sorted out.

I went ahead and registered for an account, but it turns out I don't actually require it anymore since there’s a demand for an initial payment. Just got an email congratulating me on my new account. Honestly, I’m not interested now-what a nuisance!

Feeling quite overwhelmed by the incessant calls-it's becoming rather bothersome. Apologies for my poor spelling, just not on top form today!

Card One Banking. I thought I’d give them a go as I believed they operated locally, but alas, that’s not the case. I've clearly communicated my disinterest, yet they've bombarded me with calls-over 15 times on my mobile! Now they've reverted to this number. Their eagerness seems a tad excessive, leading me to question whether they’re actually a legitimate bank. If they truly are, why the persistent hounding? It’s quite unsettling, really.

I had a go with Card One banking, genuinely under the impression they served my local area. However, it turns out I was mistaken. I've clearly expressed my disinterest, yet they keep giving me a ring - we're talking at least fifteen calls!

CARD ONE BANKING just dropped me a text out of the blue, even though I never picked up when they called. What a cheeky move!
