When they inquired whether I was Mr Stevens, I promptly said no. Then, they launched into a sales pitch for windows! Thankfully, I'm merely a tenant, so I'm not in the market for that sort of thing.

Well, it seems all that talk about BT cracking down on those pesky nuisance calls is just that-talk! They keep coming through, despite the assurances.

They refer to themselves as 'The Window People' and, I must say, they can be rather insistent! It took a bit of firmness on my part to finally get them to back off. I've received their calls before, though they’ve ringed in from various numbers. One in particular was a local 01782 code, which is from Stoke-on-Trent. Quite the nuisance, really!
