I reckon it's likely a phishing attempt. They rang me earlier today inquiring whether I still owned my property. They had both my name and address, which was a bit dodgy. The caller claimed to represent some obscure energy company.

I got a call from this number a couple times, thought it might be from my council but we’re in a different county so that wouldn’t make sense. Rang back and got nothing, so I just blocked it. After reading other people’s comments, it seems like it’s just another spam call.

Every single day at the exact same time they call, but as soon as I pick up they just cut the call. I’ve ended up blocking the number now.

I didn’t pick up since the number was unfamiliar and my phone flagged it as possible spam. Even though I do know people with that area code, they’d usually just send a text or drop a message instead of ringing. And if it was really from an energy firm like some others mentioned, my phone number isn’t linked to our energy account anyway.
