I got a call about having paid too much on my electric bill and that I could get the extra cash back if I gave them my bank info. The bloke said his name was Sammy Smith, but funny thing is, yesterday a guy with almost the same voice called and said he was Ted Smith. Proper dodgy, they couldn’t even say their own names right. I’m on a prepaid meter so there’s no way I’ve overpaid. They keep ringing me like three times daily, from numbers that look local but aren’t actually in my area. Total scammers.
