2 yearsI got a call claiming to be from a tech firm saying they were about to take money from my bank. They said back in 2019 I’d given them £500 to fix a computer infected with malware. That’s just not right - I would never have paid that much! I’ve had calls like this before from different ‘tech support’ companies all giving the same story. What threw me off this time was that the number they used was almost identical to my own.
