Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was "Alexander Jones" from BT Openreach. He claimed some folks were illegally using my broadband. I asked him for their IP address, but he got all defensive and wanted to know why I needed it. I told him I worked at Fujitsu doing broadband setup for BT, so I could track that stuff myself (which was a total fib). Then I said I use a VPN with Virgin, which is completely separate from BT, so I didn’t see how anyone could be mooching off my connection. After a pause, he just yelled "Go f*** yourself" and hung up. What a cheeky bloke.
