About an hour after, I got the exact same call but showing up as 01231082685 on my caller ID. Pretty obvious it’s a scam.

Got a robo call with some kind of American accent, though some words were hard to catch. They said they were from TalkTalk and warned me my internet would be cut off. They asked me to press 1 to “sick up the problem” (think they meant “fix up the problem”), or press 2 if I wanted to disconnect for real. I just hit the hang-up button. Honestly, why don’t they do something to stop these scammers?
