After that, the man switched up his story saying we needed to buy something to fix issues on the laptop. We said no and next thing the laptop was locked up tight. We had to do a full restore, which was awful cos we ended up losing loads of photos of our granddaughter and also pictures of my partner’s dad who died not long ago after fighting cancer.
