Got a call that woke my baby up, so I was pretty annoyed. I picked up and it was a woman who acted like she knew me well, like we were pals, which felt really strange. She started saying something about working with the DVLA and mentioned a recent road accident I’d apparently been in. I quickly told her I’ve never even had a car or driven, so they should remove me from their list and end the call. Definitely a scam, don’t bother answering it.

Someone rung me up about a car crash that supposedly wasn’t my fault, but they used my old surname even tho I changed it more than a decade ago. I told them to remove my details from their system but they flat out said no, claimed they’d keep ringing me since I wouldn’t respond to their questions. Loads of hassle.

they asked to speak to the phone owner about some file in their database. when i told them to stop, they kept pushing, spamming me with stuff about legal advice from the dvla. bit weird cause i don’t even own a car, and my mum, whose name’s on the phone contract, would never hand out my number.
