Got a call at 8:11am from someone claiming to be with ID Mobile, asking about a recent purchase. Pretty sure it was a scam though, since ID Mobile operators don’t start work until 9:00am. I said I couldn’t give her the info right then and asked if she could ring back later, but she was pushy, saying she was only allowed three calls per hour and promised to call at 9:45. The whole thing felt dodgy, so I didn’t answer the follow-up call and reported it as a scam.

Reading through the comments here about the link to Curry's, I wanted to share our bit too. Our problem was sorting out a refund, and I reckon folks ought to know how the person on the phone kept insisting we hand over our bank info so they could supposedly pay the refund straight into our account. My husband kept saying he wasn’t happy giving out such details over the phone, but the caller was pretty insistent.
