I didn’t know the number at all so it made me quite wary. I figured it was some kind of scam call, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

this seems like one of those pension scams, just say you’re not interested. if you try ringing the number, it actually connects you to some call centre in the US.

got a call on my mobile and when i picked up there was no one there, then like 2 and half hours later the same number rang my landline but again no sound when i answered

someone called saying they were from the pension service asking if i’d received my yearly statement recently, i told them no cos i dont have a pension yet (too young for that!) they just said ok no problem and ended the call. the number had my local area code (chichester, west sussex) so i picked up but now it’s on my blocked list :)
