This week I got a call from this number, and like a few others here, they claimed I had some account with them. It caught me off guard because I’d set up phone blocking through a number my provider advised me to use a while back. They then offered to block calls from places like Malaysia, India, Thailand, etc., but then asked for my bank and credit card info, which immediately set off alarm bells, so I refused. The person on the line sounded convincing, though, and I can see how folks who get loads of sketchy calls might be tempted to go along with it. Seriously, don’t fall for it! Just before this, I had another call saying my computer was infected with a virus and they needed my password to fix it remotely. I admit I let them chat for quite a bit before I told them I haven’t had a computer for more than a decade! It's really disgraceful behaviour.

I got a call today from this number, and honestly, the person on the other end could do with some basic phone etiquette. If they can't be polite, they shouldn’t be calling at all. This company, if they’re trying to get money off people, really ought to be reported to trading standards. For those that just keep ringing with no end in sight, I jot down the number and look it up online to see if it’s a scam or telemarketer. Honestly, over 90% of these calls seem to be from time-wasters or dodgy salespeople. I often wish we could just send all these annoying nuisances off to some faraway planet, far away from civilisation!

Got called by this number again, same annoying scam as others have said. Previously, they’ve bombarded me with random nuisance calls. This time it was a woman with a London accent, not the usual Indian one, pretending to follow up because I’d apparently been getting spam calls. She said they had a service to block those calls.
