Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with the phone blocking service. He started asking if I pay my bills using direct debit. Then he asked for the expiry date on my card and said it was from 2020. I told him I don’t have any cards (which isn't true). As soon as I said that, he just hung up on me.

I just got a phone call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from some sort of telephone service. He asked if I was getting annoying calls and said they wanted to help block them for me. Said it was free, but then asked for my bank card expiry date. When I questioned why they’d need my card info for a free service, he kept pushing for the expiry date. Naturally, I didn’t give it to him. He got a bit pushy, so I just laughed, ended the call, and blocked the number straight away.
