Got a robocall saying it was BT, telling me my internet was down and they were about to disconnect me. They asked me to press 1 to speak to someone, but I just ended the call instead. Then, I reported the number to both BT and Action Fraud to be safe.

Received a call just before midday, at exactly 11:58, from this number. Similar to what Btrpo mentioned in their account, the chap on the line claimed that I’d been inundated with nuisance calls-which I indeed have been. He presented a service that promised to halt these bothersome calls for the price of just £1.**p a month. I informed him that I had no intention of shelling out for such a service and promptly ended the conversation.
