I got this call with a prerecorded voice, sounded like it was from either the US or Canada, saying it was BT calling and that I’d be brought in by the police soon. Definitely felt like a scam.

I just got a call from an English bloke with a recorded message saying he was from TalkTalk. He told me my internet would be disconnected unless I pressed 1 to speak to an engineer or pressed 2 to stop the service. Total con, don’t fall for it!
