Got a recorded call claiming to be from TalkTalk, warning my line was on the verge of being cut off. When pressing 1 to chat to an operator, I got put through to someone babbling nonsense about faults on my line, mentioning stuff like errors and misuse. Then they asked me to enter some weird Windows commands like netstat and eventvrw/, before saying they need remote access to fix it. Totally a scam. TalkTalk seem to be blocking that number now, but I reckon they’ll just keep trying from other providers.
