Got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying he was calling on behalf of HMRC and that I needed to pay some tax immediately or face a fine. I’m absolutely certain this isn’t true since HMRC doesn’t contact people like this over the phone. So I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. The caller ID said it was from Cheltenham which is obviously dodgy.
