AVOID ANSWERING IF THIS NUMBER RINGS YOU. I recently received a call from this lot claiming my internet was running slowly because someone was attempting to access it. The chap on the line, whose accent was decidedly thick, spoke English fluently but insisted he was with BT, even though I'm a TalkTalk customer! It seemed his intention was to fish for our passwords to gain control of the broadband connection. I strung him along for a bit, but he ultimately ended the call when he realised I wasn't budging! STAY ALERT, and never divulge your passwords to anyone.
