Got a call from a mobile saying they were doing government surveys, then this same number rang me again to set up a meeting. When I asked what the survey was about and if it was really for the government, they said no. I ended up cancelling the appointment - definitely seemed like a scam to me.

My mum had almost the same thing happen. She was trying to get someone to come over but the phone kept cutting out. Then someone calling from a mobile phoned and tried to book a time. Once I said I was a co-owner and they’d agreed to a 6pm slot last night, they just hung up. Of course, nobody showed up for the appointment.
