I got a call from someone who said he was with the Insurance Advice Centre and asked if I had any life insurance. Then he said he'd connect me to an IFA to talk more about it. After that, the person put me through to another person who asked for more personal info. When I said I wouldn’t share anything unless they told me more about their firm, the guy just said he couldn't do that. Felt a bit off, to be honest.
