Got a call from a woman saying she was from British Gas's meter team, saying they needed to send someone round to check our meter. Problem is, we've never been customers of BG! When I told her this, she started asking who our actual supplier was. I wouldn’t share that info, so she put me on to a "supervisor" who kept saying the call was being recorded. I told her that if there was any problem with our readings, I'd just ring our own provider myself.
