Claimed to be from a phone number blocking service - but it all seemed rather suspicious to me.

On the 5th of October 2023, I got a dodgy call with a terrible connection claiming they were working for BT, TalkTalk and some other firms. They kept going on about security problems on my phone because there’s been a rise in foreign scam calls hitting my area code. I was this close to saying, “Sounds like you lot too then.” Told them to ring me another time, then blocked the number before they could try again.

Got called from a different number today, still the same spot, but no one was talking. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
