I've been targeted by this dodgy outfit a few times now. They claim to be some sort of accident claims service. Somehow, I’ve had calls coming through from all over, like Chelmsford and Cheltenham, but it’s actually one and the same bunch just hopping around different area codes to trick you. When I answered, there was a bloke with a proper Scouse accent on the line. I just went along with it, letting him ramble on until he got bored and hung up. Honestly, I doubt many Scousers would even know about places outside Liverpool, let alone lived there!

My missus answered and just said I wasn’t around, asked if they could ring later - we’ll see what they do.

Received a call from this number earlier today. The woman on the line demanded I verify my name and phone number but never said who she was or her company. When I asked for her details, she just wouldn’t share them. She kept pushing me to confirm my info. I told her I’m wary of phone scammers and don’t give personal details to strangers, but she wouldn’t back down. In the end, I just hung up. She sounded pretty casual and indifferent as well. Definitely not a good approach for that kind of job. Terrible way to do business in my opinion.
